Songs Rooted in Real Life, Faith, and Truth
Songs about where you’ve been, what you’ve carried, and what still matters most
About the Songwriter
Eddie Devine is a songwriter and producer whose country and Christian music are both rooted in the same foundation—real life, faith, and truth. His songs are shaped by lived experience—stories of struggle, redemption, love, loss, and the moments that quietly define who we are—the same themes that carry through both his country storytelling and his Christian worship songs.
His journey as a songwriter spans decades. After early success—including a song featured on Doogie Howser, M.D.—he stepped away during a season of new beginnings. What began as a move to Nashville to join a writing team supporting an emerging artist soon took a different direction, ultimately leading him back to the West Coast.
For a long season, songwriting faded into the background as life moved in a different direction. What once served as a personal outlet became something he left behind—but what felt like an ending wasn’t the end of the story. In time, it became clear that God had not finished writing the story.
In a season of renewal, the joy of writing returned—this time not as pursuit, but as calling. That season gave rise to a renewed body of work, including songs like “I’d Rather Win Souls for Heaven” and the foundation for The Christ Encounter Collection – Vol. 1.
Today, Eddie writes and produces music across two lanes—country and Christian—both expressions of the same mission: to create songs that connect, carry meaning, and point people back to what matters most.
